Can I feed my baby water?

Please dont! Breastfeeding alone can provide all the food and water your baby needs for the first six months of their lives. Babies do not need any food or drink except breast milk, not even water. Giving water to young babies puts them at risk of diarrhoea and malnutrition. Water may not be clean and cause the baby to have infections. Breast milk is more than 80% water, so please just give him breast milk.
