Why should I take the vaccine?💡

Vaccinating your baby against Pneumococcal bacteria is crucial, guarding them against severe infections like pneumonia, meningitis, and bacteremia. Through vaccination, your baby's immune system will transform like a superhero, effectively fight with these bacteria and significantly reducing the risk of severe illness. So, getting that PCV13 shot is a way to keep your precious one safe and healthy.

How to get the vaccine?💉

There are 4 mandatory doses for PCV 13 vaccination in total, and the second dose is usually given after 2 months after the first dose. Doctors recommend getting the second dose of the PCV 13 vaccine when your baby is around 4 months old since the first dose should have been given when she/he was 2 months old. Your clinic might have already made you an appointment for the second dose of the vaccine when you had the first dose. If they didn’t, do not hesitate to call and ask them for an appointment before the time passes!
